Milan is one of the main international benchmarks for fashion, and hosts numerous luxury stores, concentrated primarily in the Quadrilatero della Moda shopping area.
This district is so called because it is a quadrilateral, delimited by four streets: Monte Napoleone, Alessandro Manzoni, Della Spiga and Corso Venezia.

The name dates back to 1804, during Napoleonic rule. Even at that time Milan was full of foreigners, who flocked to the city for both business and pleasure, but it was from the 1950s that the street imposed itself as one of the most important in the world for shopping.
Another location where visitors can sate their desire to spend is Scalo Milano, a shopping centre bringing together aesthetics and innovation.
