Mediolanum Forum (or Forum di Assago), with a roofed surface of over 40,000 square metres, is one of the largest multi-function spaces in Milan and Europe.
Born principally as a sports facility for hockey and basketball, today Assago Forum is an emblem of Italian and international music, a must do and sometimes one-stop venue for tours by the greatest musicians in the world. Frank Sinatra’s 1991 concert was considered ground breaking and a succession of names needing no introduction, from U2 to Madonna by way of Vasco Rossi, have performed at the forum.
Over the years Mediolanum Forum has offered the public great open air events too (the greatest was Festival Latinoamericando) and countless events designed, in particular, for families (Cirque du Soleil, David Copperfield and the Disney show, Walking with Dynosaurs).
